How to navigate in maps containing rhetorical analyses of scientific texts

This videos demonstrates how one can use Open Office to edit existing maps containing the text structure of scientific texts. Visual maps of scientific texts are used to investigate the underlying text structure of scientific texts. For example, a common text structure for the Introduction section of a paper is constituted by four text blocks: Significance, Information Gap, Literature Review in support of the Information Gap, and Objectives and Hypotheses. Visual maps of text structure also present arrows demonstrating the relationship among text blocks. For example, the Objective and Hypotheses block "fulfills gap of" the blocks on Information Gap and Literature Review in support of the Information Gap. These relationships are represented by arrows.
